Yaa Baby’s father has, for the first time, shared his thoughts following the heartbreaking loss of his daughter.
In a conversation with reporters, Yaa Baby’s father denied assertions that she was deliberately killed.
According to him, the incident that resulted in her death was an unintentional occurrence.
He expressed;
“He did not mean to take my daughter’s life. After the incident, they tried to save her, but she lacked the strength. ‘Maybe God wanted her to come to Him in heaven,”
Yaa Baby passed away after she was reportedly shot by her boyfriend, Hayford Boateng, known as GH Kobby, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Yeji, located in the Bono East Region.
Reports suggest that the pair were present in the vicinity when GH Kobby retrieved a gun from his car, which went off unintentionally.
A bullet from the weapon struck his girlfriend, who was quickly taken to a local hospital, where she eventually died.
Since the tragic event, conversations on social media have revolved around whether GH Kobby’s reported shooting of Yaa Baby was accidental or planned.
