After tribal slur on Bawumia, Kwaku Boateng now rallies support for ‘in-law’ Ken Agyapong

A viral video has emerged showing the Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem South, Kwaku Asante-Boateng, urging his polling station executives to back his in-law, Kennedy Agyapong, in the upcoming NPP presidential primaries.

The development comes just days after the MP sparked nationwide outrage for describing Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a “foreigner” and a “slave” during a radio discussion on Adom FM, comments widely condemned by Ghanaians and the NPP national executives.

His latest move is deepening speculation that his earlier remarks were part of a coordinated effort by the Agyapong camp to discredit the Vice President ahead of the January 31 primaries.
