Alan Kyerematen is ‘chosen by God’ to be the next president – Pastor Kwaku Obeng

Pastor Kwaku Obeng, also referred to as Apostle John and affiliated with Spoken Word Evangelism in Kumasi, has made an astonishing assertion that Alan Kyerematen, a former Minister of Trade and Industry, is divinely destined to become the next independent president of Ghana.

The Apostle also stated that Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, the former Majority Leader in Parliament, is divinely selected to serve as Kyerematen’s running mate.

He cautioned that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) could face downfall if it endorses a candidate not chosen by God. He remarked that the party has suffered a loss of its former glory and divine support.

“There is no specific leader within the NPP that has been appointed by God at this moment. The current state of the NPP shows it has completely lost its shine, and there is no justification for selecting any candidate. If they choose to disregard God’s guidance and elect a flagbearer, the party is at risk of collapsing,” he expressed.

As stated by the Apostle during a press conference in Kumasi, God has disclosed that Alan Kyerematen’s journey to the presidency is outside the NPP. He contends that running as an independent candidate is the only way Kyerematen can fulfill God’s plan for the nation.

He highlighted that Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen and Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu are divinely aligned and are uniquely qualified to lead the country towards progress.

Apostle John indicated that if the NPP stubbornly insists on selecting another flagbearer, it will face fragmentation as this would contradict divine intentions. He urged party members to take heed of this spiritual message and rethink their strategy regarding the upcoming flagbearer selection.

He proposed that the most beneficial course of action for the NPP now is to collaborate with Alan Kyerematen as an independent presidential candidate and endorse the Kyerematen-Kyei-Mensah partnership for the upcoming general elections in 2028.

Currently, the NPP is gearing up for its flagbearer selection process to identify a candidate for the 2028 presidential election. Numerous notable party members have voiced their aspirations to compete, and the leadership is pressured to facilitate a fair and open electoral process that brings the party together.

In the meantime, supporters of the various contenders are actively backing their chosen candidates, believing that they will succeed in the internal election.
