Renowned Ghanaian journalist Captain Smart has shared insights into some of the offenses linked to Mr. Jumah’s time leading GIHOC.
Speaking live on Onua TV on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, Captain Kwadwo Godsbrain revealed the staggering amount of money Mr. Jumah reportedly spends every weekend.
According to Captain Smart, Mr. Kofi Jumah spends about 40,000 Ghana cedis each weekend, from Saturday through Sunday.
The official Facebook page of Onua TV shared this caption from Captain Smart:

Additionally, Captain Godsbrain Smart noted that during Mr. Jumah’s leadership at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), he was involved in serious mismanagement and misuse of metropolitan resources.
Captain Smart also mentioned that Mr. Jumah is among the longest-serving government officials under His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration.
Currently, security officials are conducting further investigations to gather more evidence against Mr. Kofi Maxwell Jumah, who will face prosecution if found guilty.
