The Kwahu West Municipal Assembly has announced the demolition of all unauthorised structures at Agbogbloshie Market, Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.
This decision was taken following the Municipal Security Council’s recommendation after last Sunday’s tragic incident in the area where a locally based popular musician was stabbed to death.
According to MUSEC, the move also aims to restore order, enhance security, and prevent future loss of lives.
All squatters and owners of temporary structures have been urged to remove their belongings before the scheduled demolition on Thursday, 6th November 2025.
