A 45-YEAR-old married man in Kumasi has been caged over the strange death of his wife, whom he claimed to have found dead in a pool of blood with cuts on some parts of her body.

Albert Cobbinah, the husband, personally reported the death of his wife, Grace Asantewaa, to the Suntreso Police in Kumasi, claiming that he came to see her dead in their room at Santase Fankyenebra in Kumasi.

According to the police, Cobbinah also claimed that a kitchen knife was lying besides Asantewaa, adding that, with the help of others, he immediately rushed her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

However, when the police interrogated further, Cobbinah, reportedly, started to give inconsistent information, so the police decided to detain him for further interrogation.

“Photographs were taken to assist investigation. Enquiries were extended to KATH where the deceased was seen lying on a stretcher with two cuts on her left hand.
