Medikal Recruit with Shatta Wale and Beeztrap KOTM for a new track titled ‘Shoulder’
Ghanaian rapper Medikal has released his new single titled “Shoulder,” which includes contributions from dancehall legend Shatta Wale and up-and-coming trap artist Beeztrap KOTM. The track, produced by Atown TSB, can now be streamed on prominent platforms.
Medikal has established himself as a key player in Ghana’s hip-hop industry, recognized for his lively delivery and various collaborations. In 2025, he dropped multiple songs such as “No Good Advice,” “Welcome To Africa,” and “Ei Tracy” featuring Beeztrap KOTM.
Shatta Wale, whose real name is Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is a celebrated Ghanaian artist in the reggae-dancehall genre. He received global acclaim for his work with Beyoncé on the track “Already.” In 2025, Shatta Wale is scheduled to take the stage at Afro+ Fest in Washington D.C., where he will perform alongside artists like Gunna and Asake.
Beeztrap KOTM has made a name for himself in the Ghanaian trap music scene. At the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, he was recognized as the Best New Artist. Recently, he teamed up with Agyeiwaa for the track “Fall Apart 2,” demonstrating his range as an artist.
The three artists were seen filming the music video for “Shoulder,” suggesting that a visual will be released soon.
