Nana Ama McBrown consoles late TikToker Osanju’s father
Actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has extended her condolences to the family of the late TikToker Osanju following his demise.
In a video making waves online, content creator Oheneba Jude, who was present at the family home, handed his phone to Osanju’s father so he could speak with McBrown.
The actress, who affectionately referred to Osanju as her “boyfriend,” expressed her sympathy during the call.
Osanju’s father took the opportunity to recount his son’s prolonged battle with illness, while McBrown consoled him warmly from the other end of the line.
He said, “I am sure that during your recent meetings, he shared with you the health issue he has been battling. It’s you, the media, who have kept him in the spotlight until now. He was aware that his life could be short-lived, and whatever has happened, I believe it is all part of God’s plan. His time had come, which is why he left us.”
Osanju, who had consistently shared his long fight with leukemia on social media, died on September 1, 2025.
His death shocked the TikTok community in Ghana, where many fans initially refused to believe the news because he had been seen just a day earlier, on August 31, enjoying the Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano football match.
The young content creator had spoken about his condition in the past and even hinted that his life might be cut short.
His story drew attention, with McBrown inviting him to appear on her Onua Showtime program earlier this year.
