Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia continues his relentless campaign towards the NPP’s January 31 presidential primaries with a stop in the Western Region in the coming days, beginning today.
Bawumia, renowned for his energetic on-ground campaigns, has been on the road for the past two months with a series of stakeholder engagements across various regions.
On the latest leg of his campaign, which is constituency-based, Dr Bawumia has, in the past four weeks, toured every constituency in the Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, and Western North regions, respectively.
Beginning today, Saturday, November 1, 2025, Bawumia storms the Western Region, where he is again expected to tour all 18 constituencies in the coming days to engage with party stakeholders at all levels.
On the opening day of his Western Regional tour, Dr Bawumia is expected to visit three constituencies: Amenfi West, Amenfi East, and Amenfi Central.
Dr Bawumia, widely tipped as the overwhelming favourite to be elected NPP Flagbearer for the 2028 election, has been, unsurprisingly, receiving a massive welcome and support from delegates as he engages them on his message centred on institutionalising the welfare of party members and building a stronger party capable of reclaiming power to serve the country better.
