NPP Primaries: The Western Region aims for victory with Dr. Bawumia – Regional Chairperson states

The NPP’s Western Regional Chairman, Francis Ndede Nsia, has affirmed the region’s strong backing for former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, in his pursuit of the party’s presidential nomination for the upcoming 2028 elections.

As Dr Bawumia commenced his campaign visit in Amenfi, the regional chairman remarked that the former Vice President is well-positioned for success due to his extensive support nationwide, emphasizing that the Western Region will contribute to this triumph.

“On behalf of my constituents, I extend a heartfelt welcome to you and declare that the Western Region is set to be part of the victorious team. We aim to elevate Dr Bawumia and secure him a significant win,” stated the regional chairman.

Praising Dr Bawumia for his commendable traits and his respectable approach to campaigning thus far, the regional chairman expressed his respect for the former Vice President’s focus on substantive issues while disregarding the negativity and attacks from rivals.

“It is regrettable that falsehoods and misinformation have become prominent in this campaign targeting one individual.”

“Nevertheless, the positive aspect is that he remains unfazed and continues to focus on his campaign without engaging with those claims. This has inspired us to stay committed to our efforts to ensure his success.”

Dr Bawumia wrapped up his regional tour yesterday in Sekondi after engaging with all the constituencies.

He received a warm reception from delegates, garnering substantial endorsements and support throughout the region.
