Sofoline Interchange ramp to close September 3–19 for repairs
The Department of Urban Roads in the Ashanti Region has announced the temporary closure of a section of the Sofoline Interchange to allow for repair works.
According to the Department, the ramp linking the Sofoline Terminal to the Santasi Roundabout and Patasi will be closed to traffic from Wednesday, September 3, to Friday, September 19, 2025.
The closure, the Department explained, will enable engineers to carry out repair works on the expansion joint of the approach slab.
Motorists heading toward Patasi, the Santasi Roundabout, and nearby areas have been advised to use alternative routes and follow the directional signs provided at the interchange.
The Department further urged all motorists to strictly comply with the traffic management measures introduced during the repair period to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconveniences caused,” the Department stated in a notice signed by Surv. Na-em Iddrisu, Regional Director of Urban Roads.
