Stonebwoy showed up at my door to check up’ when I was sick- Arathejay

Ghanaian musician Arathejay opened up about how an unexpected visit from Stonebwoy lifted his mood while he was recovering from a leg injury.

He mentioned that the president of BHIM Nation arrived at his home out of the blue, simply to check in on him.

During a conversation on Hitz FM, Arathejay reminisced about how the surprise took place shortly before Stonebwoy’s main concert in London on March 8, 2025.

The event, hosted at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, featured live performances from Arathejay, Fameye, and others.

Arathejay expressed how moved he felt by Stonebwoy’s kind act, particularly since it was completely unexpected.

“I had no idea he was coming. He hadn’t mentioned it, so it was a pleasant surprise since I was unwell. I had been dealing with a leg issue previously. Then, out of nowhere, Stonebwoy called to say he was coming to visit me. The next thing I knew, he was at my door, and he came alone,” he shared.

Arathejay noted that during the visit, Stonebwoy didn’t mention the upcoming concert in London, even though plans were already in place for Arathejay to take the stage.

“That’s just the way he is. That’s his nature. He expressed that he wanted to check on my well-being. He was concerned about my leg,” he remarked.

He later learned that he was included in the roster for the concert, which was a part of Stonebwoy’s “UP & RUNNIN6” tour.
