Suzzy Pinamang Can Now See After Successful Eye Surgery in the UK
According to a report by Zionfelix on Thursday, 26th June, 2025, Suzzy Adwoa Pinamang, the Adventist Senior High School (SHS) student who was shot in the eye some months ago, has finally regained her sight.
Thanks to the kind support of Ghanaian businessman Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, Suzzy was flown to the United Kingdom for surgery, which has turned out to be successful.
According to a statement and video shared by Zionfelix.com, Suzzy had her eye surgery on June 2, 2025, at the famous Moorfields Eye Hospital in the UK. This hospital is known around the world for treating complex eye problems. After the operation, doctors confirmed that the surgery went well, and Suzzy is now recovering steadily.
The statement, issued by Rafik Mahama, a special aide to Ibrahim Mahama, shared the good news that Suzzy has already started regaining her independence and is now able to see by herself. Her full recovery is still ongoing, but she is on the right path.
Rafik Mahama also used the opportunity to thank everyone who played a part in helping Suzzy. He mentioned the medical teams in both Ghana and the UK, the Ghana High Commission in London, the Minister for Foreign Affairs Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the outgoing UK High Commissioner to Ghana Harriet Thompson, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, Roger Pope Opticians in London, Suzzy’s family, the media, and the general public.
However, the biggest thanks was given to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, who paid for the full cost of the surgery and made sure Suzzy got the best care.
